13.2.1 Device structure: Adding master and slave

 How to map the machine structure in the »PLC Designer«:

1. Right-click the controller and select the Add device command to add the "EtherCAT

Master":

2. Add the EtherCAT slaves below the EtherCAT Master:

Right-click the EtherCAT Master and execute the Add device command. Select the

desired devices from the selection list . Repeat the Add device command until all slaves

connected to the fieldbus are included in the device view.
