3. Select the DC functionality "DC for synchronization" in the device tree for the first slave (DC

master) under the master (Lenze Controller).

• The first slave connected to the master must have DC capability.

• If a slave does not support any distributed clocks, only "DC unused" can be selected here.

4. Also select the DC functionality "DC for synchronization" for all other slave devices which

are to use the DC synchronisation.
